Opportunity

We are seeking to hire young outgoing people, who have either completed their First / Second Year Senior College or First Year B-School and would like to work during their summer holidays to learn about the financial markets.

The selected applicants will be paid a stipend + mobile & travel allowances.

All hiring will be subject to the candidate clearing the AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India) exam (http://www.amfiindia.com/) for which each student will be guided by us.

Job Description

Ø To market financial products to various clients & distributors
Ø To establish, build and strengthen relationship with our channel partners

What you will Learn

Ø The basics of investment management
o What is a mutual fund?
o What are the different kinds of mutual fund available?
o How are the funds managed?
o Legal & Regulatory framework of mutual fund.
Ø Ability to comprehend the Equity and Fixed Income market
Ø To work in a team of professionals and exercise your team management skills
Ø To hone your relationship & interpersonal skills
Ø To work within the disciplines of a professional organization

Length of the Program

We plan to commence the summer internship program for 2010 by mid-April and end after three months.

At the end of the program you would be certified as an intern with DSP BlackRock Pvt Ltd.
