Position:  Associate 1

Required: The Final year 2018 batch MCom / Post Graduate degree in Finance and Accounting with first division (60%)

 0 – 1 year of full time experience with a reputed company / firm

   

Job Description:  Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

·         Audit service delivery – Be a part of the team that is responsible for audit service delivery and ensure timely and quality audit deliverables on the work done by self.

·         Content & industry focus – Build strong domain expertise (accounting & auditing) and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with US ET and improve quality of work performed from GDC

Roles and responsibilities

The Associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -

·         Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge

·         Understand audit procedures performed by GDC

·         Familiarize with audit documentation tool –eAudIT

·         Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (IDEA, WISDOM,CASEWARE, MS Office)

·         Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with Quality

·         Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas

·         Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills

·         Participate in / lead team and group activities

Technical Skills

·         Audit and accounting knowledge

·         Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills)

·         Strong English communication skills (Oral & Written)

 Enabling Skills

·         Attention to detail and quality consciousness

·         Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change

·         Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends

·         Should be open to travel to US on short and long term assignments
