Job Responsibility:-
- Controlling the payroll
- Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
- Handling PF, ESIC, TDS, Service Tax, Professional Tax etc.
- Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management
- Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
- Reconciling bank statements
- Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow

statements.

Preparation of month-end and
year-end closing entries.

Posting of activity to the general
ledger, including monthly accruals.

Research and correct account
discrepancies.

Account analysis and reconciliation,

Preparation of monthly
reconciliation's between source records and control accounts.

Monitoring and maintenance of
recording and reporting fixed assets and related depreciation.
·
Evaluation and maintenance of
internal controls relating to hotel properties This is to include validation
of: supporting documentation, accuracy of information received, completeness of
transactions, maintenance of accounting records, and physical security of
assets.

Participate in the annual budgeting
process.

Take initiative to identify areas
and provide suggestions for improvement

Research and resolve technical
accounting and system issues
