Rungamattee Tea & Industries, Ltd. is one of the oldest tea manufacturers in the country.  We have four top estates (Upper Assam, Cachar, Darjeeling and Dooars) in the major tea growing areas of the country, and we have our own factories in each estate.  We have historically been known to produce some of the finest teas year after year. Most of our teas are sold in consumer packs in the domestic market. The best of our Darjeelings and Assams produce are exported to Germany, Japan and the UK.  We also have local offices in major centers throughout the country.

POSITION TITLE:  Product and Brand Manager

REPORTS TO:  Senior Manager

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Requirements:

·       Minimum 1-3+ years experience

·       Very well spoken and written English

·       Motivated individual prepared to be groomed and move up the ranks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1     Join the team involved with the launch of the new tea brand

a.     Undergo tea tasting training/education

b.     Create marketing material related to brand management and public relations

2      Product Development

a.     Deal with domestic and international companies to source new products

b.     Understand which products pair well with our teas

c.      Build an entire product catalog

3      Manage the retail location

a.     Train sales employees

b.     Customer interaction

c.      Client interaction

4    Work with functional heads to insure timely execution of key projects

5    Be able to work independently and be a team player when required

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

·       Exceptional English communication skills (both written and verbal)

·       Strong computer skills (strong grasp of PowerPoint and Excel; plus Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral)

·       Strong analytical skills  

   

    

       POSITION TITLE:  Web Developer

       REPORTS TO:  Senior Manager

       PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

     Requirements:

·       Strong technical skills

·       Motivated individual prepared to be groomed and move up the ranks

·       Good communication skills + teamplayer

     RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards

2.     Constant communication with colleagues

a.     Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management

b.     Given authority and scope to apply your knowledge and expertise to technical issues

3.     Plan and deliver software platforms

4.     Hands on with Web Applications and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and Ruby on Rails

5.     Understand security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce

   

      EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

     Bachelor’s Degree (completed or pursuing)
