PlushEscapes.com is an online travel portal that features a curated selection of exotic hotels, resorts and villas. We are working directly with leading boutique hotels with a mission of helping domestic and international travellers to discover and book the finest vacations in India. Our founding team consists of graduates of Cambridge and Wharton with work experience in the hospitality industry, startups and investment banking in New York, San Francisco and India.

Job Description Are you passionate about startups and are looking for the perfect entrepreneurial experience? Do you spend your free time reading TechCrunch or dreaming of the next big idea? If so, we want to hear from you. We are looking for an outgoing, rockstar student or recent graduate to join our business development team. You will work closely with our co-founders and have a direct impact on our strategic partnerships. You will be expected to contribute innovative ideas and execute them to grow our supply of the finest hotels, resorts and villas.
Responsibilities • Own the day to day distribution relationships with some of our hotel supply partners and act as a representative of our brand for those partners • Identify opportunities to maximize existing relationships in terms of revenue generation and the best user experience possible • Negotiate agreements with new partners and periodically re-negotiate existing contracts • Strategically grow our supplier base and support existing partnerships to generate targeted and high-quality traffic for our partners while keeping in mind the interests of our users • Analyze and monitor the performance of our hotel partners on a regular basis
Requirements • Proven ability to hustle and manage multiple work streams effectively • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-starter and ability to work independently in an unstructured, fast paced environment to meet daily targets • Passion for travelling and knowledge of lifestyle & travel trends is a plus • Ability to work full-time or part-time starting September or October from our Kolkata office
