WHAT YOU WILL DO

·        Edit manuscripts such that the final text is in standard scientific English and is free of unclear or unidiomatic sentences

·        Adhere to job-specific instructions and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required

·        Understand client and industry requirements and adapt working approach accordingly

·        Meet deadlines

·        Receive training to become adept at the points mentioned above

We are currently looking to hire Associate Editors and Senior Associate Editors to edit and review academic research papers intended for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

This is a full-time position with the option of working from our office in Mumbai or telecommuting from anywhere in India.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

·        Help researchers improve the language and clarity of their documents and ensure that the documents comply with academic style and conventions.

·        Manage deadlines and have high quality standards.

·        Review assignments done by other editors and provide constructive feedback.

 1.      CTC : Package Offered: (Excluding all the taxes)

Senior Associate Editor: Rs. 45,000 per month

                     Associate Editor: Rs. 30,000 per month

In addition:

·         You will be eligible for an annual bonus of up to Rs. 96,000

·         Your Mediclaim cover is Rs. 100,000

·         Your Accident cover is Rs. 500,000

·         You are a member of the Gratuity Scheme

2.      Editor-on-contract (1-year fulltime, extendable contracts): Rs. 27,000 per month
