Job Description
Word Weaver Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for 10 to 12 content writers/editors to join its team. We are offering a full-time office-based opportunity, as well as internships. We do not offer any freelancing option.
Content Writer (8 positions)
The candidate is required to possess an excellent command over English, as well as have a flair for writing. He/She would be generating minimum 5 to 6 articles everyday (of 425 words minimum) for an online publication. The genres are Technology, Science and Health and would encompass real-time news.
Knowledge of American English, SEO and CMS is an advantage. Graduates with prior experience in content writing/blogging, with a background in Mass Communication/English Honours/Journalism are preferred.
Content Editor (4 positions)
A grammar ninja with excellent editorial skills, who is also acquainted with American English norms, conversant in AP style of editing and is familiar with Chicago Manual of Style.
He/She would be required to assign articles to the content writers. Edit the articles and publish them within the designated time window as this is a deadline-oriented job. Prior experience in proofreading/copyediting is preferred. The ability to write articles would be an advantage.
Date Of Joining
We expect the selected candidates to join the company from January 2017/February 2017 (preferably January 4, 2017). The work week is a 6-day one (Monday to Saturday) and comprises a 9-hour works shift, which includes lunch break.
CTC - Rs. 3/- lakhs pa
The selected candidate would be offered a 3-month contract with Word Weaver Infotech Pvt. Ltd, but will be on probation for the first month. Based on performance, the company will extend the contract further.
