  • Google Online Marketing Challenge:
    • About the program: NMIMS has been an active participant in GOMC and was also the regional APAC winner for 2016. :) As a refresher for the new batch, The Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC) is a unique opportunity for students to exercise teamwork, advertising, and consulting skills while using real money on a real advertising platform to support a business or NGO from their local community. The Google Online Marketing Challenge, now in its 10th year, is an annual global online marketing competition for students from higher education institutions around the world. Student teams develop and run an online advertising campaign using Google AdWords for a real business or nonprofit organization of their choice, using a $250 budget provided by Google. The teams that develop and communicate the most successful campaigns have the opportunity to win awesome prizes, including trips to Google offices, digital devices, NGO donations from a total pool of $30,000 and more.
    • How do I sign up? Professor and student registrations for the 2017 Google Online Marketing Challenge are now open!
    • Professors Registrations Close: March 22, 2017.
    • Students Registrations Close: April 5, 2017.
    • Keep in mind: In order for a student team to participate in the competition, they need to have their professor register first. Professors can choose to incorporate GOMC into their curriculum or informally support a group of interested students. Once the professor has registered, students can develop teams of 3-6 members and elect one team captain to register their team for the competition. For more details on the 2017 competition timeline, please see Discover GOMC.
    • Learn More: To learn more about the impact of the GOMC, check out this video and go to the GOMC website for all guidelines, terms and conditions and FAQs. Stay up to date on the Challenge through our Google+ Page and if students have any questions, feel free to reach out to onlinechallenge@google.com.
