Baazkart operates all over India, with its headquarters situated in Bangalore. Delivering the message of India’s elaborate historical heritage. Providing means of sustainable livelihood to its artisans, with an active approach to associate local sellers with buyers from different regions, supplanted by an increasing trend towards indigenous small scale manufacturing, Baazkart seeks to unite and affiliate all such local manufacturers under one banner.


Internship Period - 2 Months (Digital Marketing)
Live Project - 2 Weeks (Vendor Management)
Location - Virtual (Can work from where they are presently located)

Students background - All departments

Summary of Project The projects will be done with the Company remotely by students from their campus. Project wise details are below. 

Project 1: Vendor Management  Go to your local/nearby market, convince the sellers to get associated with Baazkart and sell their products on Baazkart platform.  Find 4 vendors in your locality / nearby area who are likely to be interested in selling through Baazkart's platform.  You will be required to submit the following to get approvals on your work: 1. Name of the Vendor (who is getting onboard) 2. Vendor's/Shop’s Email Id 3. Mobile Number 4. Address with Pin code 5. Product category 

Skills and Expertise Required:  Clear communication.  Strong Analytical skills.  Ability to travel in the field.  Relationship Building  Convincing Skill  Public Interaction 

Duration of Project: 2 Weeks (i.e. 14 days) 

Expected time spent: 10 hours/week. All interaction will happen over email/phone / market visit. 

Expected Output: Selected students are expected to:  Get 4 Vendors onboard, over two weeks (i.e. 14 days).  Minimum of 20-50 products from each vendor. 

Benefits: A Live Project Completion Certificate from the Founder of Baazkart. If you are able to bring: 1. 1 vendor with 0 to 10 products, no certificate will be issued. 2. 1 to 2 Vendors with 10 – 20 products, certificate of participation will be issued. 3. 4 Vendors with 10 to 20 products each, certificate of merit will be issued. 4. 4 vendors with 20 to 50 products each or more you will receive the certificate for Excellence will be issued alongside, he/she will get the Golden Opportunity to work with us. We will be offering, him/her with the PPI (i.e. Pre-Placement Interview) at the end of the current academic course.

Project Guidelines: - • You have to register in a team of 5 members. • Your team will be allotted a week to run creative campaigns on the official Facebook, Twitter, the Instagram page of Baazkart. • Tracking and reporting of all campaigns in order to guide improvements. • Develop highly creative and insightful content for marketing mailers. • You will be provided with an opportunity to use paid Ads*. • You will be exposed to the various platform for increasing the brand awareness. • The evaluation of each group will be made by considering various parameters. 

Duration: 2 Months 

Who can apply: Only those candidates can apply who: 1. can start the project between 1st Jul'17 and 1st Sep'17. 2. are available for minimum 2 months duration. 3. are pursuing any degree but have relevant skills and interest. 4. are currently in any year of study or are recent graduates. 

Benefits: 1. The winning team will be provided with vouchers of BaazKart and will also be eligible for a PPI offer. 2. Students will also be awarded a certificate of successful completion of the project. 3. Letter of recommendation for selected interns from BaazKart. 4.
