Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess markets to produce daily price assessments, market analysis, news and reports
• Make daily contact with traders, brokers, investors and key market figures to build relationships and
gather news
• Contribute copy to newswire, relevant publications, online news portal and videos.
• Attend meetings, conferences and industry events to build contacts, report on news and represent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, economics, business, or relevant
field
• Ability to develop, source and write industry relevant news to deadline.
• Knowledge of the stock market, money and foreign exchange, energy and commodity sectors will be preferable.
• Excellent writing, grammar and numerical skills (these will be tested as part of the interview
process)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to network and build contacts with industry
executives
• Strong coordination and time management skills with the ability to work well independently and
within a team
• Demonstrable interest in global business and politics
• Self-motivated, able to use initiative and equipped with an inquisitive nature
