We are inviting graduate or post-grad students, with background in analytics/ statistics/ mathematics and consistently high academic records, to participate in a 4 week intensive internship program in Election Forecasting that will focus on forecasting the Delhi Assembly Elections 2020

Background:

Election forecasting is one of the most premium applications of data science and a niche skill used by high profile political organisations, media outlets, consulting firms. Spotle gives you the opportunity to work on an exclusive internship on election analytics and predicting the high  voltage Delhi elections. The niche internship gives you exposure to predictive analytics, teaching you how are opinion polls designed and executed and results tabulated to forecast election winners and vote-shares.

Students will be able to take this opportunity to work with India's leading psephologists to predict outcomes of Delhi elections and make your CV stand out. The program curates insights from renowned psephologist Dr R.L. Karandikar and opens up careers in opinion polls, election reporting, strategy consulting for you with media outfits, consulting firms, government bodies and premiere NGOs.

Location: This is a work from home project. Students from Delhi, NCR area will be preferred to conduct the opinion polls. You can also conduct opinion polls over email and online.

Required Skills: Strong background in analytics, surveys and data visualization. Superior leadership and communication skills will be preferred.
