As part of a larger initiative, Equifax in partnership with IFC (World Bank Group) is conducting a feasibility study on how to get SHG (Self Help Groups) data (both consumer details and loan record details) into the credit bureau fold. This would involve understanding how SHG works on the ground level, the processes, technology, operations and interface with banks. The model could differ from state to state. In this regard, we would like to offer internships for MBA students during their summer break of 2013. The internship duration will be 2 -3 months.

Location:  Kolkata

Require: B.Com / BBA / M.Com (Preferred Finance specialization)

 Candidates are expected to have
- Excellent analytical capabilities
- Prior experience in banking especially in lending would be preferable
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Interviewing skills and ability to connect and speak with all population segments
- Ability to draw insights from a variety of viewpoints and data sources is critical
- Willingness to travel extensively at times to tier-2 cities and rural areas
- Passion for financial inclusion
