Business Analyst: 3 Months Internship, Immediate Joining.


Agrud.com was created with the idea to disrupt the financial industry in Data, Analytics, and
Personalization. The Wealth Management industry has been dominated by a few large private
banks that focus their expertise in growing the wealth of high net worth individuals. With
Democratization of wealth and a prospering middle class, fresh lucrative opportunities have
opened allowing new entrants to disrupt the space with technology. The growing Tech savvy
Mass Affluent demand “Wall Street Like Information and Advisory”. However, Data and
information currently available is scattered across sources thereby lacking the personal touch
and individual relevance. Moreover, it is short-term in nature having a bias for traders over
investors. At Agrud, we have identified this need of the Mass Affluent and aim to aid them in their
investment process by providing them with personal and relevant data and analytics in one place
that is required for individual investment making decisions. Our Human-Like Artificial Intelligence
technology, Stella, has been designed to scout the internet to gather, analyze and distribute
structured and unstructured data and information to investors. Stella thereafter continues to track
each investors portfolio, based on their personal preferences, keeping a check on latest trends
that may affect it and communicates it personally to each investor. Our vision is to democratize
financial information and give the Mass Affluent what they seek:“Wall Street Like Data and
Analytics”.

About the Internship:

Job Post- Business Analyst

Location- Kolkata - 700029

Required Qualification- Applicants pursuing any degree but having relevant skills and interest
may apply. (B.Com / BBA / M.Com)

We are looking for a self-motivated, responsible and dynamic Business Analyst who has the eye
for detail and the knack for research. The duties of Business Analyst are to assist the CEO
based on his requirements which include:
 Detailed research and analysis for ad hoc projects, which include industry analysis,
comparative company analysis,etc; and making informed inferences
 Preparing detailed reports and presentations to be presented to the CEO
 Search for Merger and Acquisition opportunities for the company
 Ability to take charge of projects and meet strict deadlines

Requirements- Proficient in MS Office

Internship Period: 3 Months, joining in March. Internship letter will be provided upon completion
of the internship period only.

Stipend: Rs.5000 to Rs7000 per month (Mon -Fri 10 am - 7 pm)
