Position: Associated Research Manager

Required: Final year 2018 batch - B.Com / BBA / M.Com - Marketing
                 B.Sc - Statistics, Economics, Mathematics

Cut off: All through 65%

Job Responsibilities:
·         Ensuring timely delivery of research projects through adequate work-flow planning and organizing
·         Ensuring high-quality fieldwork through the adequate briefing, support and query handling
·         Developing expertise in the basics of research – understanding client brief, developing questionnaires, sampling designs, research tools and techniques, analytical tools – and learning to apply them to live situations
·         Managing client expectations on timeliness and data quality.
·         Developing first level capability of reading, analyzing and interpreting data, detecting trends, and developing first cut presentations based on this understanding.

British American Tobacco (BAT): the world’s second-largest tobacco company and the parent company of ITC. IMRB Kolkata has leveraged its tobacco research expertise in providing research and consultancy for BAT companies around the world. In the last 3years, IMRB Kolkata has conducted research for BAT in all continents

in over 50 countries across the world including Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, South Africa, Nigeria, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Spain and Netherlands. To service the BAT business, IMRB Kolkata has placed researchers from its office in London, KL, Seoul, Tokyo and Amsterdam. IMRB Kolkata’s role in such projects is to develop the proposal, the research design and questionnaire, processing the data, conduct the analysis and work out the final presentation. Fieldwork is locally organized by the BAT Company.
