Job Profile:

Inter-company transactions across borders are growing rapidly and are becoming much more complex. Compliance with the differing requirements of multiple overlapping tax jurisdictions is a complicated and time-consuming task. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, we have a strong international network of dedicated transfer pricing specialists with advanced training in economics, accounting, law and project management. Our specialists include numerous partners and staff having a vast gamut of experiences gained from tax administrations. We extend advisory services on documentation and planning, dispute resolution and advance pricing agreements. As a member of the Transfer Pricing Team, you will work on all aspects of inter-company pricing arrangements between related business entities, including transfers of intellectual property; transfers of tangible goods; services and loans and other financing transactions.

The tasks, roles, and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Analyst will include the following:-

Using Indian databases like Prowess and global databases like Orbis, RoyaltyStat, etc. in order to identify a comparable set of companies or agreements

Preparing search strategies and undertaking a quantitative and qualitative review of companies across the globe in order to identify a comparable set of companies or agreements to benchmark against the client

Extending support in preparing transfer pricing documentation for a multinational. This includes drafting of group overview, industry overview and FAR (functions, assets, and risk) analysis

Undertaking economic adjustments, financial analysis, statistical and empirical analyses based on facts and circumstances

Skills Preferred:

Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical reasoning skills 

Meticulous work-style and dedicated attitude with an eye for detail is preferred

Open to learning and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment 

Ability to manage multiple tasks under stringent deadlines while maintaining the quality of the work delivered

Motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem-solving

Accountability -Taking ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks delegated
