Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi, Founder Chairman of The Oberoi Group recognised that
the key to his philosophy of hotel keeping would be carefully selected and groomed
managers, who shared his passion for guest satisfaction. In order to achieve this
objective, he established The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development as an
institution of learning, where young people could be groomed through a combination
of academic instruction and professional experience.

The Post Graduate Management Programme is offered in:
Sales Management
Guest Service Management
Housekeeping Management
Sales Management This 18-month programme is designed to train graduates for a
long-term career in hospitality sales.
Guest Service Management focuses on careers in two main guest contact areas: Food
& Beverage Service and Front Office. On completion of this 2-year programme, you
would join as an Assistant Manager in any one of our hotels and could one day
become a Food and Beverage Manager or a Front Office Manager.
Housekeeping Management focuses on careers in Housekeeping. On completion of
this 2-year programme you would join as an Assistant Manager in Housekeeping in
any one of our hotels and could one day become an Executive Housekeeper.
Benefits
The Management Programme commences in July 2019 and provides academic
learning at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development’s campus in Delhi and
on-the-job training at Oberoi and Trident hotels and resorts.
In keeping with The Oberoi Group's philosophy of training and developing its people,
the programme invests in selected candidates. This investment includes expenses on
training faculty, accommodation, duty meals, medical insurance and uniforms. A
monthly allowance is paid during the training period.
The programme includes four weeks of leave each year.
On completion of the OCLD management programme, you will get ample growth and
development opportunities in the company. Most Heads of Department and General
Managers in the Company are graduates of The Oberoi Centre of Learning and
Development.
Eligibility
Applicants should be above 19 and below 25 years old as on 1st July, 2019.
Applicants should have successfully completed, or be completing, a recognised
university or college degree by 1st July, 2019.
Kitchen Management Programme applicants should have completed a college
degree in hotel management.
Applicants must pass the medical fitness verification by our company doctor.
Selection Process
1. Introduction round in groups on college campus in September, 2018.
2. Panel interview with OCLD managers on college campus in September, 2018.
3. Interview with a Hotel General Manager in Delhi or Gurgaon in October, 2018.
4. Semi-final round at OCLD campus in Delhi in November, 2018. This will have
group activities, assessments and interviews.
5. Final interview by Corporate Heads in Delhi in January, 2019.

awareness, team player, service ethic, alertness, enthusiasm and energy.
