Brief Description of the Organization: FOOD & AGRICULTURE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (CII-FACE)
Food and
Agriculture Centre of Excellence of CII (CII-FACE) is charged with the mission
to improve the competitiveness of
India’s agriculture & food processing sector, by catalyzing innovation,
building capacity and enhancing productivity across agriculture and food
value chain, ensuring food security and inclusive growth. FACE works closely
with Industry, Farmers, Developmental institutions and the Government with the
following objectives:
- Improving
on and off-farm productivity through the introduction and dissemination of
global best practices and technological innovation
- Improving
global competitiveness of India’s agriculture and food processing sector
by investing in capacity building initiatives (Food Safety, Quality and
Regulatory) and skill development for supply chain participants across the
value chain
- Strengthening linkages across the agriculture and food value chain with an objective of reducing spoilage, increasing value addition and enhancing farmer incomes
Comprising an extensive team of domain experts across verticals, FACE has evolved a robust services portfolio
and has established itself as a credible knowledge resource in the agriculture
and food domain. Team members of FACE
are based out of CII Offices across the country.
Position: Project Associate
JD: Responsible
for Technical Program Administration for Food Safety & Quality Events and
training programs,
consultancies
and projects, including supporting counsellors on developing new proposals and
project reports .
Another key
area will be managing Vendors and maximizing outreach and impact of the Food
Safety Quality Programs
through effective usage of digital / social
media and direct communication.
Education:

Science graduate with BBA

Experience : Could be a fresher or 1 year experience or who has adequate
internship experience, preferably in Food companies
