Structure of our ProgramThe Fellowship is a two-year full-time salaried leadership development program based on global best practices and research. As a Fellow, you will be placed as a teacher in an under-resourced school. We believe that leadership is learned in practice - our Fellows develop their skills by overcoming the challenges that exist in a government school classroom. The structure of the Program is as follows: - Summer Institute - a mandatory residential training Program that equips you with the skills and knowledge you need to be successful in the classroom
- First-year of teaching - you will be a teacher to 40 students, learn of the challenges that exist within the school system and start developing your leadership skills
- Summer Internship - you have the opportunity to explore organizations and sectors and accelerate your learning in specific fields
- Second-year of teaching - you will continue transforming your students from first year and have the opportunity to work on entrepreneurial projects that enables you to solve challenges you observe
- Alumni Movement - you graduate from the Program and are ready to use your skills and knowledge to create a magnified impact in whichever career path you choose
Through the two years, you are supported by your Program Manager, School Team, City Team, City Alumni and a larger community of co-Fellows. |
