White Oak Capital Management is an investment management firm with $3.0bn of India-dedicated capital. The firm was set up by the former CIO of Emerging Markets Equity and India Equity at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. White Oak has offices in Mumbai, Singapore, London & Zurich. 

The Investment research team is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in listed equities across sectors, conducting due diligence and overseeing existing investments.

Role

The pre-MBA role will entail working closely with the investment research team. Candidates are expected to pursue higher studies post the completion of the 2-year program. Exceptional performers in the program may be considered for a full-time role post the completion of higher studies.

The fixed compensation will be INR 12 lacs per annum.

Qualification – Final year undergraduate students expected to graduate in 2021.

• This can be in the form of a report of not more than 5 pages or in the form of a presentation deck with not more than 10 slides.

2. An excel financial model of the best investment idea

3. A list of the next best 5 investment ideas in the listed equity space (apart from the best investment idea)

• This requires only a one-paragraph description of the summary of the investment thesis

4. A cover letter (not more than 1 page).
