Brief Description of the Organisation: Good Shepherd International School is located in Ootacamund (popularly known as Ooty) in the Niligiris which is the part of the Western Ghats.    GSIS is a haven for 800 students from 30 countries and 150 faculty members to maximize their potential and learn experientially in the ambiance of mutual understanding and trust. Set on two campuses the Fernhill Campus is home to students from Grade II to Grade VI, the former Baroda Summer Palace and elegant and charming location overlooking Ooty lake. Job Description:                                                                                                                                                        

We are wishing to appoint a qualified, energetic and inspirational teachers to join our school. The successful candidate will work alongside the Senior Vice Principal Academics and the Coordinators (Primary, Middle, High School and Higher Secondary) and be responsible for teaching the relevant subjects.   We welcome candidate who have a real passion for teaching and learning.The job will involve residential responsibilities which are organised on a rota.

Package Offered:                                                                                                                                                     

1.      Cost to Company  - Rs. 7,80,000/- per annum (Rs.65,000 /- per month)

Breakup

a)      Salary – Rs. 40,000/- 

b)      Single Accommodation – Rs.15,000/-

c)       Food – Rs. 10,000/-(Vegetarian, non-vegetarian, Jain food served in separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian dining halls)

2.      Paid holidays during summer (2 months) and winter (one month)

3.      Health Insurance coverage of Rs. 1,00,000/-

4.      Free medical facilities.  School hospital with two resident medical officers

5.      Free power (to a certain limit) and water supply
