In this trip, SP Jain will undertake all the expenses, involving the air tickets, visas, accommodation and all meals.

Experience student life at SP Jain Global by –

 Engage themselves in solving a global case study (SBR’s) and Business Simulations
 Explore Singapore for its tourist’s attractions while also understanding business practices specific to that

Selection Process:
 SP Jain will conduct a presentation on the contest (30 min) at your college
 On the same day, (right after this presentation), we will conduct an Aptitude Test (SPJAT) for 60 min.
The shortlisted candidates from SPJAT will be invited for Round II which comprises quizzes, essay and an interview
with an SP Jain Admission panel. This round will be conducted on a later date.

Position Summary: Villgro seeks a highly motivated professional for the role of Investment Analyst,
Agribusiness Practice. This position will have broad exposure to early-stage entrepreneurs working in
Agribusiness sector with a focus on communities at the base-of-the-pyramid. A professional in this role will build a strong toolkit of skills in social impact investing including those used in partnerships, pipeline development, and portfolio management. This position will also work on Important initiatives that drive the Agribusiness Practice work forward.

Who should apply: While this position is open to all, an Undergraduate with 0 - 1 years of work experience, with strong research and writing skills, basic financial accounting knowledge and, a demonstrated commitment to social impact will be prioritized. This role is an ideal opportunity for an individual considering graduate school or working towards a portfolio manager role at a social impact organization.

Reporting to: Investment Manager - Agribusiness

Roles and responsibilities: The role will include, but is not limited to:
● Knowledge Management:
o Subsector Analysis: Identify themes Agribusiness sector. Map out various factors such as Problems
and challenges, Current ecosystem, Existing Businesses (Product, Delivery, Business Models),
Investment Activity etc to create a cohesive investment thesis.

● Pipeline Building Activities:
o Support the investment team during Due-Diligence.
o Support our national b-Plan competition- iPitch.
o Envision, plan and execute the annual Agribusiness Unconvention event.

● Portfolio Management
o Support the portfolio team in effectively managing the Agribusiness portfolio. Ex: Support during
portfolio reviews, diagnostic panels, org reviews etc.
o Provide well-researched inputs for individual portfolio companies such as competitor analysis, key
partnership opportunities, downstream funding opportunities etc.

● Other :
o Collaborate with Investors Relations, Finance & Compliance team for managing the investment
management operations, preparing investor reports and board presentations on periodic basis.
o Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Required qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree
● The candidate is expected to have 0-1 years experience that is relevant to the above role. Freshers
