With this email, we would like to invite you to share the information of the internships and assistantships with CRRSS amongst your students.
All positions at CRRSS are unpaid as we are a volunteer-based research organization.
Reswaerch Task
Collect requiredliterature and other supporting materials for ongoing research and/or projects Write literature reviews, analysis and other documentations under the supervision of the team lead or advisors.
Contribute scholarly researched articles for the website, deadlines will be conveyed accordingly.
Should support the mandate’s ongoing research, and complete tasks given by the advisors or team lead.
Comment and edit final reports/papers or monographs.
Prepare presentations for research findings and analysis in talks and panels held by the center.
Support and assist the advisors and assistants in all dimensions of the work related to collaborations,
outreach activities, partnerships, publications.
Support the respected mandate’s team with day-to-day management of programming and other
ongoing projects, including liaising with external partners, coordination with events staff,
administrative tasks, and any other tasks related to program management as needed.
In cases of events such as conferences, panels discussions, talks etc. take an active role in shaping
the format, structure, and agenda of the Initiatives public and private events, including
correspondence with high-level participants, relationship management, and drafting of invitations.
Ensuring that all program activities are implemented within program timelines in a manner that
meets program standards and objectives.
Should have a Bachelors Degree in their respective field (s) ( final stages pursuing or completed).
Preference will be given to first year masters students.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
A strong understanding of different research methodologies and their applications.
A self-starter who is able to manage and develop projects; strong organizational skills; and the
ability to work independently and collegially
Strong public-speaking and policy-convening skills
Should work on the project, able to collect scientific data
Strong partnership-building skills.
Candidates with experience in Social Statistics and Quantitative data analysis are desirable.
Preferences will be given to candidates with diverse linguistic backgrounds, especially UN
Languages Spanish, French and Chinese to be more specific.
Working knowledge of google applications (Docs, Slides, Forms etc.) is required.
INTERN ASSISTANT
Contribute to design and delivery of qualitative and quantitative data collection for your mandate or
project’s ongoing research
Get involved in ongoing research and do smaller compilations of the state of knowledge, as well as
do descriptive data analysis.
Contribute scholarly researched articles for the website, deadlines will be conveyed accordingly.
Support the mandate

s ongoing research, and complete tasks given by the advisors.
Supervise interns and their work. Help and advise in literature collection and review.
Co-author final reports/papers or monographs.
Present research findings and analysis in talks and panels held by the center.
Support the respected mandates team with day-to-day management of programming and other
ongoing projects, including liaising with external partners, coordination with events staff,
administrative tasks, and any other tasks related to program management as needed.
Establish contacts and connections with fellow scholars and organizations related to the respected
Mandate/ project teams.
Occasionally hold talks, podcasts, panel discussions on various topics, with the help of the
communications team.
Ensuring that all program activities are implemented within program timelines in a manner that
meets program standards and objectives.
Should have a Masters Degree in respected field (s) ( final stages pursuing or completed)
Excellent research and writing skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Demonstrated interest in the subject area of the mandate. This will be judged by prior publications
(if any), internships, projects, courses, etc.
Preference would be given to candidates with experience in conducting primary research, managing
research projects, and designing and implementing new research projects.
