It gives me great pleasure to introduce to students an opportunity to get conversant with new age business which we believe will grow to become the biggest marketing & sales channel across industries. Allow me to introduce Knowledge Jockey, a revolutionary Online Marketing & Sales initiative by Outlook Group Magazines, where students Learn & Earn at the same time .Once students sign up for Knowledge Jockey you become part of the corporate world & start learning & understanding the finer nuances of how business is undertaken on the internet, telemarketing and web portals. It will not only gives the right new age exposure but also prove to be an amazing Summer Internship.

MARKETING PROFILE
Task 1:- Customer Relationship Management using Knowledge Jockey
> Amalgamation of telemarketing and digital aspects of business.
> Learn & understand how business can be augmented on the web / internet.

Task 2: Marketing and Sales Project
> Interns/Trainees shall be taking a comprehensive Internship with the following Key Performance Indicators:
>Learn & understand various aspects of sales & marketing.
> Work on live projects through customer acquisition & business development.
>Get a chance to develop leadership qualities.
>Get to understand consumer behavior.
>Develop sales strategies for the company.
>Day to day management of the sales & marketing functions.
>Customer interactions, Telemarketing & sales with email marketing.
>Participation in events/exhibitions, corporate visits, Direct Marketing.
>Team meetings and discussions to provide new ideas for business growth.
Task 3:- Marketing Research and Strategy Making
> Students will be provided with a virtual situation and a problem statement.
> Depending on the learning from the first task, the intern should be able to interpret the opportunities and challenges associated with the product.
> Intern will be asked to formulate a strategy which will help them overcome the problem.
> Case studies from the past may be referred to , to have a better understanding .
Task 4:- Marketing Analytics
> Interns will be trained how to analyze the real time data sets.
> They will be provided with real time data sets which they will be asked to analyze, visualize and come up with a recommendation
Task 5:- Marketing Supply Chain
> Intern will be provided with a situation from the company along with data.
> They will be trained how work on concepts like: Aggregate Planning, Demand Forecasting, Decision Analysis and Network Flow Modelling.
Task 6:- HR and Training and Development Project
> Understand how the HR department works. Understand the psychology involved behind recruiting.
> Get a practical exposure to implement the learning of HR skills.
Task 7:- Digital Marketing
> Learn in detail the aspects of SEO and SEM, advertising, increasing organic out reach.
> Prepare digital audit of the website.
Task 8:- Project Work
> Intern will be provided with different project option to work on comprehensively. They can themselves come up with project topic as well.

>Students will learn how operation plays a central role in boosting the marketing and sales in an organization.
>They will learn how operations plays a central role in deciding marketing strategies.
Task 2: Supply Chain Analytics
>Here the student will be learning more about descriptive, predictive, prescriptive
>Impact of 5Vs of Big Data in Supply Chain
>Understand the aspects of Reverse flow efficiency in real world.
>Optimize network in practical scenario.
>Implement network design using decision trees.
>Understand the practical aspects of Aggregate planning in a Supply Chain.
Task 3: Operation Strategy and Decision Making
>Understand the aspects of monitoring and control
>Design process and project opportunities for the given task.
>Implement the learning of Stakeholder Power Interest grid.
>Identify the risks and manage the risks in an Operation.
>Decision making based on quality, quantity, centralization, and make Vs buy decisions.
Task 4: Operation of Services
>Implement Service Process Matrix for the given task
>Understand the environmental strategies aligned with the Operation Decision.
>Understand the customer contact model.
Task 5: Project Work
> Intern will be provided with different project option to work on comprehensively. They can themselves come up with project topic as well.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROFILE
Task 1: Product Learning
>Learn & understand various aspects of product.
> Understand challenges and opportunities better so as to better formulate strategies for the Product focused organization.
>Learn how targets set acts as a source of motivation of the employee.
>Understand how incentives play a prime role of cash flow for the employee of a product focused organization
Task 2: Training and Development function
>Understand different aspects which influences the training and development decisions of the organization and how the Training and Development Department of the Organization plays a major role in uplifting the morale of the employees and enhances their performance.
Task 3: Recruitment and Selection function
>Work in close coordination with the recruitment and selection department and see how candidates are selected for different roles. Practically explore the function and understand the psychology of the candidates.
Task 4: Leadership Function
>Understand the types of leadership and which leadership profile suits which organization. Explore the leadership function in the organization.
Task 5: Project Work
> Intern will be provided with different project option to work on comprehensively. They can themselves come up with project topic as well.
Desired skills and expertise
* Fresh candidates are welcome. Candidates with more experience can also be considered.
* Exposure to digital/online channel sales/event sales will be an added advantage.
* Ability to work under minimal guidance and must have Strong Analytical / Presentation skills with good command over Excel and PowerPoint
