We are a young organization that has proved a lot in a short span of time. We are redefining how insurance is perceived in India. We have launched multiple insurance products and wish to establish the gold standard of how Insurance companies work. We are looking for people who would help us achieve that vision. Position: Trainee Executive (Actuarial) 

Required: The final year 2021 batch - B.Com, BMS, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics

Team: Strategy & Business Planning

Role: The team is involved in working on various aspects which is geared towards increase the Top Line and improving the bottom line. As a business analyst you would work on any/multiple of the following projects:

1. Pricing Strategy: Help determine the right pricing strategy to ensure that we maintain projected growth and control profitability

2. Claims: Identify outliers in terms of Number of Claims, Claims Amount, etc. and means how the same can be controlled/managed including

Fraud Detection

3. Manpower Planning: Manage Expense Ratio (Expenses to Premium) by different locations and guide the firm in locations where we should hire more people and were we need to control future hiring

4. Business Planning and Projection: Help with Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Budgeting & forecast. Analyse deviations from forecast and how do we correct our model to build better in future.

5. Business Analytics: Help on every aspect of business through ad-hoc Analytics projects in line with company’s strategic objectives, including internal process improvements Want to know if you are the right fit? You most probably are, if the answer is yes for the points below:

• Strong Excel skill is a must

• Any advanced analytical tools/software/programming languages (e.g. VBA/R/Python/BI Tools) will be added advantage

• Logical bend of mind and Critical thinking is a must

• General willingness and ability to work with data and bringing insights
