Iswar Sankalpa is a non-profit organization working in Kolkata providing mental health care services and reintegration support to the homeless persons with psychosocial disability and the urban home-based poor population with mental health ailments of Kolkata. It was founded in 2007 with the mission of enabling these ‘nowhere persons’ with an identity and to be considered human enough to have basic fundamental rights. Since then, it has helped over 3000 homeless individuals with mental illness to reintegrate with the community with acceptance and dignity.
Qualifications Required: A Bachelor’s degree with major in English/ Mass Communication/ Social Sciences or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Comm. with expertise in written and oral communication, social marketing, negotiation, public presentation.
This position is primarily for identifying the communication needs in various segments of all existing and new projects introduced, along with building a fundraising strategy for the organization. The position shall also coordinate with other activities within the organization and develop a communication and fundraising plan, with the ultimate aim of increasing organization visibility and building the corpus.
