- Research Assistant — IB-NET global utility survey
DIME seeks to recruit a Short-Term Consultants (STC) Research Assistant (RA) to support the IB-NET global utility survey, a global survey of water and sanitation utilities in collaboration with the Water Global Practice. The consultant will help launch a pilot in November and a full survey in March 2021, contributing to the sampling, questionnaire design, quality assurance of survey activities and analysis. DIME seeks to recruit a Short-Term Consultants (STC) Research Assistant (RA) to support the Productive Social Safety Net (PSSN) project in Tanzania to support the launch a baseline in October including contributing to the questionnaire design and coding, overseeing data quality, and supporting analysis to preparation of the baseline report. Qualified candidates should apply using this link no later than September 8, 2021. - Research Assistant — MAFITA, Nigeria
The Research Assistant will be hired to support the impact evaluation of the Mafita Skills Program, funded by the UK FCDO, which is a socio-economic development program implemented by Adam Smith International. The program aims to improve the economic opportunities of marginalized youth as well as reduce violence and support for extremism in the volatile and crisis-prone Sahel. Working under the supervision of the Research Team, which includes, external academic partners who serve as Principal Investigators (PIs) on the research project, the research assistant’s main duties and responsibilities will include cleaning and analyzing survey data using advanced econometric techniques, contribute to the drafting of research outputs, including policy briefs as well as academic working papers and manuscripts.
