Designation: Trainee Research Associate/TRA

Job Location: Noida

Department: R and D/ Drug Synthesis

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

 Synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates.

 Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.

 Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.

Qualification:

 M.Sc in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmacy or related field or M. pharma with 0-1 years’ project experience.

Technical and Functional Skills:

 Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry.

 Good knowledge of naming reactions & functional group conversions.

 Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency.

 Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification and extraction.

 Good understanding of NMR, IR and mass spectrometry.

Behavioural Skills

 Interest to adopt, and appreciation for, laboratory safety procedures.

 Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.

 Basic computer knowledge (MS-word/Excel/Power point)

 Good communication skill.
