Role: Actuarial Analyst, RSA Actuarial Services (India) Pvt. Ltd.
What this job is really like:
To process data, conduct analysis and modelling and contribute to report preparation and documentation with the objective of delivering highest quality projects to clients as per project objectives and RSA visual and project management standards. To begin with, the candidates will be largely involved in learning and understanding the nuances of the field. They will be under probation for a period of 1 year during which they will undergo numerous trainings (classroom as well as on the job).
Required: The final year 2022 batch of UG - B.Com, BMS, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics.
PG - M.Com, Economics
Jobholders are typically responsible for:
Review and Improve
- Share observed issues and problems in processes or during project execution with Senior Team Members for resolution
Business Development
- Keep self aware of the products / services offered by own team
Project Management - Delivery
Project Training: Communicate training requirements and participate in project relevant training to acquire skills for delivering project, Study past work executed in similar skill area
Data Management: Process, clean and reconcile initial project data
Analysis & Modelling: Build simple spreadsheets, Conduct simple analysis on standard Business As Usual models and projects
Meetings & Discussions: Participate in internal meetings to receive guidance, review inputs and work instructions
Reporting & Documentation: Provide data inputs and format documents for Senior Team Members (STM) to
complete reporting and documentation. Complete all necessary documentation accurately, related to own work
Project Management – Compliance
- Follow the RSA standards for project management and visual standards
- Accurately fill own time sheets with billable hours per project
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain effective working relations with internal teams
