YOUNG INDIA FELLOWSHIP

 What is YIF?

Since 2011, the Young India Fellowship has groomed around 1900 outstanding young people from India and across the world to become socially-conscious leaders. The year-long residential flagship diploma programme of Ashoka University focuses on exposure to multidisciplinary thought through inspiring faculty, diverse peers, mentorship and experiential learning. It was established to give young people a holistic graduate level education, which would complement the depth of knowledge from their undergraduate education with intellectual breadth.

Courses at YIF range from leadership, communication and group dynamics, to international relations, public policy, Shakespeare and gender studies.

Alumni of YIF are at top institutions (like Harvard, Oxford, Yale, Stanford, Cambridge, and NUS) and organizations (such as J-PAL, McKinsey, UN, Bridgespan, Genpact, and WWF), and hold reputed honors (including Fulbright, Rhodes, and Forbes 30 under 30).
