What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

o   2022 Graduate, numerate degree preferred such as Actuarial / Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Engineering

o   IFoA/IAI actuarial exams or equivalent exams from the SoA

o   Highly motivated employee with great attention to details

o   Expertise in MS Office application including Advance Excel

o   Excellent written and verbal communication

o   Expertise in Data and Statistical Analysis

o   Logical and clear thinking

o   Good team player

What would you do?

You will be aligned to our Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, and Capital Market vertical which is focused on helping clients with their operations & investment portfolios.

The Insurance team helps clients and organizations transform their insurance operations into a

digital, cost-efficient, agile operating model that helps drive sustainable growth and redefine

customer experience. This team provides expertise in the areas of employee benefits, life and

annuity, property and casualty and retirement services.

In this role, you will be working in Actuarial team and help advise insurance agencies on how to compile and analyze statistics and use them to calculate insurance risks, reserves and premiums. You will need to conduct research, experience studies, and other more complex actuarial analysis; develop, review, and analyze changes and improvements to actuarial procedures, optimize processes to meet business needs. The role may also require you to communicate with underwriters, finance, claims, compliance, and legal departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

*       Supporting our senior team members to provide expert, timely, efficient and professional delivery of actuarial services to our onshore consultants

*       Taking responsibility for the production (quality & timeliness) of work for allocated client deliverables. This includes completing complex actuarial calculations & reports

*       Building strong relationships and high-level trust in them to deliver work on time

*       Demonstrate ability to convey logical thought processes and produce well-presented work which is easy for others to follow

*       Playing an active part in client service delivery as part of the extended client teams and confident to do an independent research on a new topic

*       Taking responsibility to be abreast of process/legislative changes to ensure fit-for-purpose results are delivered

*       Support year end activities and ensure timely submissions of all actuarial deliverables

*       Assist others by providing peer and tech review

*       Additionally, maintain and update comprehensive walk-through of all processes

*       Work collectively with the production team for continuous improvements of the model

*       You will be given detailed instructions on all tasks that need to be carried out, and the decisions that you make will impact your work



CTC Range: 7,50,000 - 11,00,000/- lacs pa
