Background

Mahika Mishra Foundation (MMF) is a Mumbai based non-profit organization founded in 2019 by 12 year old Mahika Mishra. MMF works on amplifying children's voices and inspire change. MMF under its flagship initiative "Letters for Change" wants to create a world where every child can speak up and raise their concerns via letters. This initiative strives to give an opportunity to children to “write letters on issues that they think can change their lives”.

Highlights of the Internship

1. The selected interns will be solely responsible for raising funds for our flagship initiative -

Letters for Change.

2. This internship is a part time work from home program, with flexible working hours.

3. This internship will be having a mutually agreed upon, specific, time bound deliverable which needs to be completed by the end of internship.

4. Duration of this internship - 1 month.

Upon extraordinary performance, one will be allowed to continue for a longer duration, provided they wish to.

5. Agents will be expected to contribute a minimum of 8 hours per week.

Internship Opportunity at Letters for Change

Highlights of the Internship

1. Each internship will be having a mutually agreed upon, specific, time bound deliverable as mentioned below in the link which needs to be completed by the end of internship.

2. These will be work from home internships. Each intern will be required to join weekly video calls on a need basis.

3. Each internship position is available for two durations that you can choose as per your convenience and availability:

● Short term: 2-3 months

● Medium term: 4-5 months

4. Interns will be expected to contribute a minimum of 10 hours per week. Sometimes the number of hours could be more depending on the tasks on hand.

5. On successful completion of the internship, each intern will be awarded a certificate based on the criteria mentioned in the link below.
