Internship
Going to School is a creative not-for-profit education trust established in India in 2003, that makes design-driven stories to equip children with the 21st Century Entrepreneurial skills they need to complete their education and transition from school to equitable work and/or enterprise of their choice.
Currently we are working on a project named Play City. Play City is a partnership between Going to School x the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). We have access to all 1,200 BMC schools in the city. Basically the project is to encourage the kids of BMC schools to play sports outside, learn sustainable skills and solve for Climate Change.
We are looking to hire interns for this project. This is a paid internship opportunity.
Work will involve learning about the project, learning the content of the project to be able to deliver it to children in school.
We would like to bring on board the interns starting in the month of May to learn about the project and familiarise themselves with the different pieces of the content.
Then, in June, when the new school year begins, interns would visit the BMC schools and use the scrapbook and games, conduct the program with the students and make them aware of sustainable grounds. The work will be from monday to saturday(as per working school days).
We would request that interns work with their complete dedication, hardwork and interest. The timings will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
We will pay the interns Rs1000/- per day of work done.
