Onourem is a technology company dedicated to improving people's emotional health. We conduct online and offline activities to help address social problems. One of the biggest challenges the world is facing is people's degrading emotional and mental health.
Research has shown that social media gives people a false sense of connection. Contrary to what 'social networking' suggests, more people today feel lonely, bored, sad, stressed, and insecure than ever. COVID-19 lockdown has only amplified this challenge.
The good news is that Harvard's longest-running research on happiness suggests that deeper, meaningful relationships are the key to living a long, happy, healthy, and satisfying life. The quality of social relations makes humans happy and not the number of relationships. Therefore, we are better off investing in our close relationships than endlessly spending time on 'social networking' that is harmful to our relations and our mental health.
Onourem is running a unique research project called 'Connect Deeper' that helps people improve emotional health and helps students get hands-on experience in conducting community research.
We are looking to recruit Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences students to conduct a 7-Day study. Every student who completes the study will receive a Certificate of Completion (sample certificate attached). Students will need to spend 5-6 hours in total on the assignment. Any number of students can participate from your college.
Onourem is a registered company in the USA and India. A number of reputed colleges in India have run Onourem’s programs. Over 2000 students have registered in this micro-internship so far. Some of these colleges are St.Stephen's, Hindu, SRCC, LSR, Gargi, Miranda House, and other DU colleges. The other colleges are LPU, DAV, Ramaiah(MSRIM), AMITY, Karnavati, BHC, ITM, FLAME(Pune), MIT WPU, and many more.

Assignment Summary
Onourem has created a fun mobile application that helps improve the emotional well-being of people. Students will help Onourem run a 7-day research study among at least 10 participants around them. Detailed assignment requirements will be emailed to students after they register above. Short summary of the assignment is below:
- The student will recruit the participants as per Onourem's criteria.
- The student will work with the participants to make sure they use the Onourem platform for five days.
- The student will collect the post-study survey data and feedback from the participants and submit it to Onourem on the 6th-7th day.
After submitting the above application form, Onourem will send students an email with a detailed assignment that they need to finish to get the Certificate.
