 Prayaana is a unique Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Ecosystem for Women, that gives wholesome career support services right from career counseling, training, mentoring, and recruitment services.  We have set our Vision for a future of Equality and Diversity in every walks of life, a world where women lead with sustainability and innovation to solve the problems of humanity. Prayaana is a not-for-profit NGO that focuses on Women's Empowerment, through our various digital initiatives, ALL of which are 100% operated and run by amazing women dispersed around the world. 

One of our prestigious projects is SheSight, a monthly digital magazine dedicated to amplifying female voices and creating space for women writers, entrepreneurs, and leaders, for the last 4 years. SheSight has won the 'Inclusion Champion Award' for advocating the inclusion of LGBTQI by featuring Trans Stars in the magazine. As part of the scaling up for the magazine, we are currently recruiting Campus Reporters from leading colleges across India, to work on live projects.

Who can apply?

Students who are :

• pursuing graduation/post-graduation in Mass Communication/Journalism/English Literature
• passionate about writing; willing to learn & research
• willing to spot stories about inspiring women in their state/locality.
• comfortable using digital media, and are up to date on current events
• This position is for Girls only.

What are the job duties?

Prepare relevant articles related to:

• inspirational women and trans community, 
• women empowerment stories, topics related to girls 
• women-friendly articles on various topics like fashion, cooking, travel, parenting, wellness, sexual health and so on. 
• All articles have to follow our Content Quality Standards, and will be reviewed by the Editors before publishing.

What Skills are needed?

Passionate news stringers/freelance journalists
Good English skills, for both writing and speaking 
Flair for reporting News on trending & relevant topics
