####COMMUNITY MANAGER - SMYTTEN
We’re looking to grow a bigger and more engaged digital and social following across the country, and it’s the Community Manager’s job to showcase us as a brand leader within B2C and B2B social and digital environments. It’s a big job. You’re responsible for connecting our online audience with our services, acting as the voice, tone and go-between for Smytten. You’ll build brand presence and trust through digital engagement, community conversation and creating and sharing content.
Roles And Responsibilities
Strategize, plan & execute the projects required to boost our brand presence (online/offline).
Engaging with various communities to build brand love for Smytten through different initiatives, programs & giveaways.
Foster a 1:1 connection with Smytten influencers & brand ambassadors to build strong relationships that showcase our brand to our key audiences in new and collaborative ways.
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs.
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitor activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
Look at extending brand reach via innovative community programs directed towards influencers and Smytten users.
Ideal Candidate
This role has the potential to grow and evolve in the longer term. So we’re looking for a go-getter. Someone who is digitally and socially savvy, who can drive it to the next level.
Be socially savvy with community management experience on key platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn within a corporate or agency environment.
Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Social Studio etc will be preferred.
Have strong creative judgment, with an eye for typography and graphic design. As well as basic photography and videography skills.
Keep your finger on the pulse as to what the community is talking about, and the trends that they’re engaging with. As well as in the know of the goings on in the world of D2C.
Have strong communication skills. Solid content writing as you’ll be briefing the community - the voice of the brand, so it’s a given you’ll be able to write ‘social first’ copy, flexing your style to suit the different channels and audiences.
Ability to dig through data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and impeccable attention to detail.
A highly analytical self-starter who can manage multiple projects and figure out complex problems without a lot of oversight.
Demonstrated ability to create engaging content, come up with creative ideas, and think outside the box.
Positive attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoys working with different types of people.
2+ years of experience in community management.

You will be editing short and long-form creative videos which will be used to engage with our customers/stakeholders and strengthen our brand identity.
