• Process high volume purchase order (PO) and non-PO related vendor invoices in the ERP system • Ensure all invoices – payables and receivables are coded to the correct accounts and standard codes • Interact with management and other departments for dispute resolution, obtaining approvals, voucher processing and statement of accounts generation. Collaborate with internal teams to give accounting guidance around payables for the allocation entries and accruals • Assist the required teams in handling vendor and customer inquiries and issues relating to invoices • Maintain and organize filing of vendor and customer invoices and other supporting documentation including GR/IR accounts • Process check requests and wire transfers, and match to invoices • Book appropriate accruals for month end close and ensure all costs have been recorded in the correct period • Assist with and ensure successful quarterly and year end audits in areas related to accounts payable and receivable • Uphold corporate policies in the accounts payable and accounts receivable areas • Prepare and clean-up all Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable month end reconciliations for multiple entities • Seek out unresolved accounting problems across the business and take initiative to address them • Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new automated accounting solutions and the set-up of a robust Accounting System for the organisation • Develop process improvements and partner with process owners to drive automation to accelerate the month-end close timeline • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures to support the rapid growth and expansion of the organisation

• You can manage multiple competing projects in a time sensitive manner and ensure a turn around time of a maximum of 9 hours for all general organisational requirements pertaining to Accounts • You have successfully contributed to setting up a robust Accounting System in place that is capable of generating relevant business analytics instantaneously

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organisation • Large company discipline, small company entrepreneurial attitude • Strong familiarity with technology and software tools, especially Microsoft Office Suite • Strong Analytical skills with an ability to analyse complex numerical data, synthesizing results and drawing conclusions to convert into business opportunities • Forward thinking, problem solving skills and readiness to take on new challenges • Superb follow through and organisation skills. Being detail oriented is key to handling the pace • Strong process orientation with an attitude that believes in: a penny saved is a penny earned • Experience in working on ERP systems, preferably SAP • Experience of having completed an article-ship as Audit Assistant • Knowledge of Ind AS or IFRS • Practical knowledge of GST, Income Tax and FEMA etc. • Prior experience of Finalization of accounts for mid-size company
