We are a full stack B2B metal procurement company that lets you monitor your prices through our WhatsApp Bot, process RFQs & orders through our mobile web-app and optimize the charge mix (raw material input) through a machine learning algorithm. This is much better than calling suppliers for prices, sending emails & WhatsApp and relying on tacit knowledge to run your factory. In the end, we complete the fulfillment by supplying the right raw material and ensure the manufacturer is able to produce high quality output.

Technology Vision

The B2B manufacturing industry has a lack of digitization globally. NowPurchase envisions being the operating system for metal manufacturers, starting off with foundries. The end goal is to be able to automate procurement by creating & connecting the different systems both on the software and hardware end (ex: furnaces, spectrometers).

Required: The final year 2022 batch of B.Com, BMS / M.Com - Marketing, Chemistry, 

                 COP- Logistic Supply chain, Marketing and sales

Your Role

We are presently expanding our Procurement division hence looking for smart, aggressive folks to join us as “Senior Executive-

Procurement” who will be part of NowPurchase’s procurement strategy, approach, and help to make the procurement more seamless.

Key Responsibilities

 Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase Raw materials from both local and overseas vendors

 Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications.

 Advise on internal and external issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions

 In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment

schedules

 Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors

 Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

 Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements

 Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 Collaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters

Qualifications & Experience

 Engineering or equivalent certifications with 2 to 4 years of experience , preferably from Metal manufacturing industry

 Should have excellent communications and negotiation skills

 Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker

 Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude

 Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel)
