Reading Right- an ed-tech startup into explanatory education

and explanatory journalism. Owing to our innate understanding in explanatory

journalism (explaining educationally relevant news articles using technology) we

have come around to build a product that takes explanatory education (explain

using technology) to unprecedented levels while making explanatory journalism

the new age erudition in education.

In a world of media illiteracy, the value add from news learning has lost its

meaning and implication while we are here to change it. Our objective is not just

to see that the masses read news articles but it is to ensure that they read quality

content about the world and leverage it to build solutions to complex problems

across all realms. We intend to culminate the education commenced by

institutions. We believe and quite strongly that a whole new relevant system of

education can be carved from news articles across platforms. Just like the

traditional curriculum the news curriculum too seeks formal help in selecting,

understanding & utilising the reading material; And we are here to provide

precisely that- only in a manner that is way more:

Job Description For : Intern for sales/hr positions- As applicable

Who we seek in our team?

If you are committed to a cause, possess an undying resolution, have a hustler attitude

that is polite yet persistent- then hey! Where were you all this time, we are looking for

you all over!

So what is your work going to look like?

1. Approach institutes for sales pitches or recruitment drives

2. Follow up regularly and take complete responsibility for the task

3. Maintain databases and checklists so as to enable smooth working across team

members

4. Organise pre-placement webinars and make calls to increase the visibility and reach of

the webinar. Track and identify areas of improvement for an increased participation.

5. Address concerns of applicants or clients as will be applicable

6. Coordinate with all internal teams for a seamless handover of the product

7. Be willing to work on ad hoc tasks provided at all times across all realms- marketing,

recruitment, sales, operations, human resource management, public relations etc.

8. Suggest areas for product improvement & also participate in product development

9. Repeat the above 8 steps while ensuring increase in the reach across multiple cities and

geographies.

• Ability to communicate clearly and with conviction.

• Ability to hustle and get things done no matter the resistance.

• Ability to chase every avenue and drive conversions within record time

• Ability to internalise the idea and create pitches that align with the vision of our

organisation and that of the candidates.

• And have a nerve- You have to commit to us for a minimum of 2 months

(mandatory)!

Remuneration:

A remuneration of Rs. 5000 per month for the 2 month internship, paid as a whole at the

end of the internship completion. Full time roles are meted out solely based on

performance and cannot be solicited.

Full time packages are compensated between 6-12 Lpa based on the candidature.
