Fellowship Programme
Teach For India is a movement of leaders working towards eliminating educational inequity by working full time as Teaching Fellows in
under resourced schools all over the country. Teach For India is a very
selective Fellowship (selectivity rate of 5-7%). Our Fellows in the
past have been students from colleges like the IITs, IIMs, BITS Pilani,
St. Stephen's, St. Xavier's and
Princeton University and dynamic professionals from corporates such as
McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, HDFC, Accenture, Thermax, ICICI and Godrej
Industries.
Last year we had 4 brilliant Fellows from here who joined the movement -
Aditya Krishnan, Anushka Ghosh, Vasudha Singhania and Payal Kabra
(Vasudha has not joined the Fellowship for relocation issues)
.
We are looking for such bright leaders who have the passion and grit
along with academic brilliance for the Fellowship and we feel that
St. Xaviers College, Kolkata,
has such quality of leaders.
This year, we would like to present this opportunity to the students of
St. Xaviers College
, like every year, and start by
sending an information
mailer
followed by
making a presentation to final year students in the next 2 - 3 weeks , for completing their applications since our first deadline for the 2015 Fellowship in on August 27th.
