REIMAGINE - SWISS RE

Swiss Re Re-imagine is a thought leadership challenge for students to prepare and submit a research paper related to one of the below topics.

  • Insurance 2030 – What will the industry look like? For example, what kinds of risks, enabling capabilities, insurance products, customer relationships and needs will exist in a
    decade from now?
  • Bridging the protection gap in emerging markets – what kind of fundamental shifts as well as out-of-the-box thinking can help achieve this.
 Winners will bag prize worth INR 60,000. The winners also get to visit Swiss Re's Bangalore office.

Challenge involves below steps:
  • First step: Preparation of one pager Executive Summary and submit it on or before 30th August, 2019. Kindly refer to the enclosed document, highlighting Terms and Conditions for this challenge. This is required to be signed off by each team member and e-mailed to this mailbox in a soft copy format along with your Executive Summary. Please adhere to the word limit mentioned in T&C to ensure successful participation.
  • Second step: These executive summaries will be evaluated by Swiss Re internal team, who will choose the top 10 entries.
  • Third step: The top 10 will have to then work on their final paper. The final paper should have a maximum word limit of 2500 words. In addition, the team is required to prepare and submit a PowerPoint (3 slides) summary that will be presented to Swiss Re Evaluation committee.
    • The content of 3 slides should run in the following order:
      • Slide 1: Problem statement
      • Slide 2: Solution proposed
      • Slide 3: Action plan of solution along with conclusion
    • More details will follow as we progress.
So let us kick start the challenge with executive summary submissions before 30th August. Request all the participants to follow the instruction in the T&C document. The submission mail should have the following details:
  1. Name of the college
  2. Semester of each team member
  3. Contact number and email address of one team member, for further communication.
  4. One-pager executive summary on the topic you choose, with a maximum of 500 words
