India Business Centre  a growing research firm based out of Kolkata, is looking for part-time research assistants. These candidates will work on various research projects, along with helping in the growth of the team. It’s a good opportunity for a young mind to grow within a start-up environment. Team is looking at hiring 20+ candidates over next 6 months.

Position: Research Assistant (RA)

Role:

✓      Candidate will be required to work on various research projects that would include financial analysis, market research, internet research, collecting data/information, and representing it in the right format either in Excel, PPT or Word

✓      RA will work on a variety of researches using variety of tools. RA must have a curious mind and an ability to learn new subjects/topics/concepts/tools very quickly

✓      It will start as a part-time role, depending upon the amount of work and the availability of the candidate. After graduation, candidate will be offered a full time job

✓      RA will have the option to work from home when required

Requirements

✓      2nd Year or 3rd Year students from B’Com or Eco Hons

✓      Computer Skills : MS Office – Word/PPT/Excel, Google Search, etc

✓      Preferred: if pursuing CA/CFA

✓      Preferred: candidates with good academic background

✓      Preferred: candidates who are tech savvy

✓      Good Communication skills – verbal and written (English)

✓      Candidate MUST be very energetic and a go-getter

✓      MUST be a Self learner–will be required to independently do several new tasks everyday

✓      MUST have access to a computer & high-speed internet connection at home

✓      MUST be open to working at odd hours (from home)

Compensation:

✓      Stipend depending on competency/availability

✓      High Bonus component: Up to 30% of stipend, based on quarterly performance reviews
