The Little Messenger – Newspaper
for Young Life has entered its third year of existence, it is our endeavour
that we look ahead to attain our goal and objective, thus fulfilling the
essence of our motto – Newspaper for Young Life.
As we close in on the month of
July, we are yet to experience the ever happening musical concert in town. The
success of this event requires the combined efforts of each individual and
synchronization with the team members to promote team spirit and oneness with
purpose to support the cause.
We look forward for candidates who will be responsible for
assisting and supporting the Marketing & Editorial Department with a
variety of social media and other initiatives.
Marketing Department: B.Com, BBA, M.Com
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Social Media focus includes:
Assist with social media engagement by helping manage The
Little Messenger’s social channels.
Drafting and editing copy for social channels.
Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis and
provide reports of growth and other activity.
Marketing/advertising focus includes:
Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to
brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.
Assist with gathering data for marketing report and push-up
sale of the product.
Editorial Department
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Reporter
Conducting interviews with experts, teachers and principals
and other individuals.
Covering press conferences, lectures and other events.
Pitching clear stories on key focus areas
Independently researching and writing mid-length features
news stories on a weekly basis. Published pieces will be bylined.
Exact internship dates are negotiable, with one month
timeframe preferred.
