International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global organisation that protects the most vulnerable from violence and oppression irrespective of their gender, community, caste, race, and ethnicity.
IJM India works with the State and Central governments on two forms of human trafficking—bonded labour and sex trafficking of minors. We work alongside government officials and grassroots organisations to rescue and rehabilitate victims, prosecute offenders and train public justice officials.

1. Government Relation Coordinator:

Responsibilities

·         Build sustainable relations with different PJS stakeholders and with other stakeholders as identified by the Government Relations team/manager to influence the System Reform goals. Help in formulating the strategy for the team.
·      Being able to understand the issues that the government is focusing on and being able to work out a strategic plan to match the government requirements with System Reform Goals. 
·         Assist in drafting letters, proposals, briefs, communications etc. for the GR team as needed for the government stakeholders.
·         Be the bridge between the government and IJM and help in the progress and achievement of the System Reform goals.
·         Organize and schedule meetings as per the plan; manage logistical requirements and ensure meetings occur as planned (reminders, etc.); collaborate with Administration to provide refreshments or transportation for meetings with external audiences.
·         Participate in internal & external meetings and record detailed minutes and actionable
·         Engage in training the PJS along with the Training & Development team.
·         Work collaboratively with the Justice Solutions team and provide leadership to other SR goals as required.
·         Track actions and follow-up with team members to ensure that goals are achieved. Record progress on shared document or database with the Manager and/or team
·         Prepare and maintain records of GR meetings with high-value stakeholders, such as government ministers, MPs and civil society organizations
·         Analyze relevant reports, publications, or other reading materials and present findings to the Manager and relevant team members
·         Collate broad-based research that will support the Government Relations team.
·         Track the team’s progress toward quarterly goals, mission and vision, and present these finds at the Monthly Review
·         Analyze and review documents, records, proposals and contracts for accuracy, completeness and conformance to applicable policies (e.g. IJM brand and messaging guidelines, GR strategy, etc.)
·         Provide general department organization and administrative assistance
·         Assist the team with bills and settlement as needed.
·         Assist in rescue operations.
·         Willing to travel as per the need.
·         Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
·         Carry out other additional assignments given by the Manager of Government Relations/Director of Justice Solutions, Kolkata.

Required Skills and Experience

         A minimum of 3 years working in team environment, with demonstrated experience resolving issues;
         Bachelors’ Degree in Administration or Business Management or equivalent
         experience;
         Fluency in oral and written communication in Bangla, English & Hindi.
         Excellent interpersonal and writing skills;
         Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
         Knowing how to connect with the government and having some background knowledge of the government structure and functioning.

    2. Executive Assistant

Responsibilities: 
·      Maintain the Director’s calendar and all meeting requests, and adjust appointments as necessary to facilitate competing priorities;
·      Determine travel arrangements and logistics for both domestic and international trips taken by the Director, including meals, and other logistics, as necessary;
·      Track deadlines on key projects and action items for the Director and follow up with collaborators, as necessary;
·      Prepare all expense reports, payment forms and time-sheets for the Director;
·      Maintain a system to track casework details and publish accurate monthly and quarterly reports;
·      Organize case files and become an expert in the case tracking system;
·      Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external audiences;
·      Serve as the point of contact for requests from headquarters about hosting visitors and work with the Administration team on all logistics involving the visits;
·      Model excellent and professionalism for the organisation in attire, demeanour, attitude, and language;
·      Serve as a contributing member of the Business Administration Team by attending meetings and retreats, and serve on related project teams;
·      Draft, prepare, distribute and follow up with various correspondences;
·      Conduct research and prepare statistical reports, and maintain relevant databases;
·      Review documents, records and forms for accuracy, completeness and conformance to applicable policies;
·      Participate in rescues and prosecutions and serve as a complainant or witness when needed;
·      Provide other administrative support as necessary.
Required Skills and Experience: 
·      Minimum one year experience providing Administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment;
·      Bachelor’s degree;
·      Exceptional ability in written and oral communication in English. Knowledge of Bangla and Hindi preferred;
·      Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook;
·      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
·      Superior ability to manage a large number of tasks simultaneously and proven ability to consistently meet deadlines with excellence;
·      Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain trust with regard to confidential and sensitive information.

3. Data Manager

Data Management and Results Dissemination (60%)
·      Coordinate data collection, reporting and analysis efforts, provide ongoing support to local partner organizations we collaborate and partner with for data.
·      Establishing the program evaluation design and tools for qualitative and quantitative data collection.
·      Execution of program evaluation design, qualitative data collection, data cleaning & data analysis.
·      Lead on data summaries/aggregation for monthly and quarterly reporting requests.
·      Implement regular data quality audits of program monitoring data and work with teams to correct data errors
·      Oversee the dissemination of key program monitoring data (organizational dashboard, etc.)
·      Develop and embed system to track the collection, review, and use of monitoring data
·      Participate and help lead the design and management of various research projects.
Embed High-Quality Monitoring into Programs (20%)
·      Provide technical assistance to programs so that they have a plausible plan to show achievement of outcomes and contribution to impact;
·      Provide input into the design of new/revision of current programs, especially on assessments, monitoring indicators, and evaluation plans
·      Review draft program proposals/plans for the quality of their monitoring and evaluation methodologies and plans;
·      Participate in multi-disciplinary internal evaluation teams, including the development of terms of reference for external evaluators
·      Participate in the planning for, execution of, and program re-design after external evaluations
Increase Strong Monitoring Competence among Program Team (20%)
·      Mentor program staff on relevant monitoring issues
·      Assemble and disseminate relevant resource materials, templates, and guidance documentation
·      Keep abreast of and adapt programs to key developments in the monitoring arena
General
·      Willing to travel as required.
·      Carry out other additional assignments given by the Associate Director of Program Management, Kolkata.

Travel Requirements
·      This position is based in Kolkata but will require travel to visit IJM’s offices and partner sites throughout India.
Required Skills and Experience: 
·      Bachelor’s degree in Management, International Development, evaluation, research, program management or another related field;
·      Minimum of two years of successful experience in program monitoring, data management and/or evaluation – including any of:
·      conducting data quality audits or quality assurance assessments
·      presenting program monitoring or quality assurance results effectively to stakeholders
·      training program staff on data management or monitoring issues
·      Large scale data collection and cleaning
·      Knowledge of standards relating to design, planning, monitoring/measurement and program evaluation;
·      Exceptional ability in written and oral communications and presentation skills;
·      High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; MS Excel
·      Experience working cross-culturally
·      Knowledge of statistics and of common qualitative and quantitative methodologies, a plus
·      Experience with statistical software and project management information systems, a plus
·      Demonstrated diplomacy in professional and cross-cultural settings.
·      Fluency in English and Hindi (oral and written); Bangla language skills preferred.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Data Management and Systems Management (50%)
·      Serves as the point person for data collection, reporting and analysis efforts for strategic use of data to drive quality program implementation
·      Design and implement work processes and systems to promote work flow and track the collection, review, and use of data for all departments
·      Lead on generating and dissemination of data summaries/aggregation (organisational dashboard, etc.) for monthly and quarterly reporting to the Field Office Director and IJM HQ
·      Implement regular data quality audits of program monitoring data and work with teams to correct data errors

Embed High-Quality Monitoring into Programs (50%)
·      Provide technical assistance to programs so that they have a plausible plan to show achievement of outcomes and contribution to impact
·      Provide input into the design of new/revision of current programs, especially on baseline assessments, monitoring indicators, and evaluation plans
·      Review draft program proposals/plans for the quality of their monitoring and evaluation methodologies and plans
·      Participate in multi-disciplinary internal evaluation teams, including the development of terms of reference for external evaluators
·      Act as point person for consultants conducting M&E work in-country
·      Participate in the planning for, execution of, and program re-design after external evaluations
·      Participate in multi-disciplinary evaluation groups to develop terms of reference for external evaluators
·      Support review of program plans periodically for the quality of the monitoring, evaluation methodologies and sustainability
·      Support Strong Monitoring Competence among Program Team Members
·      Support program staff on relevant monitoring issues
·      Assemble and disseminate relevant resource materials, templates, and guidance documentation
·      Keep abreast of and adept programs to key developments in the monitoring arena

Required Skills and Experience: 
·      Master’s degree in social sciences, economics, international development, statistics evaluation, research, program management or another related field
·      Minimum two years of experience in program monitoring, data management and/or evaluation – including any of:
·      designing, managing, or monitoring a program
·      conducting data quality audits or quality assurance assessments
·      capturing, synthesising, and analysing qualitative and quantitative data
·      Exceptional ability in written and oral communications and presentation skills
·      High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
·      Proficiency in spoken and written English
·      Experience with statistical software and project management information systems is preferable
