Team: Strategy & Business Planning

Role: The team is involved in working on various aspects which is geared towards increase the Top Line and improving the bottom line. As a business analyst you would work on any/multiple of the following projects:

1. Pricing Strategy: Help determine the right pricing strategy to ensure that we maintain projected growth and control profitability

2. Claims: Identify outliers in terms of Number of Claims, Claims Amount, etc. and means how the same can be controlled/managed including Fraud Detection

3. Manpower Planning: Manage Expense Ratio (Expenses to Premium) by different locations and guide the firm in locations where we should hire more people and where we need to control future hiring

4. Business Planning and Projection: Help with Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Budgeting & forecast. Analyse deviations from forecast and how do we correct our model to build better in future.

5. Business Analytics: Help on every aspect of the business through ad-hoc Analytics projects in line with the company’s strategic objectives, including internal process improvements

Want to know if you are the right fit? You most probably are, if the answer

• Strong Excel skill is a must

• Any advanced analytical tools/software/programming languages

(e.g. VBA/R/Python/BI Tools) will be added advantage
