Profile Description – Graduate Commercial Trainee
Graduate Commercial Trainees will be given intensive training for 12 months in the areas like Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Project Administration, Industrial Relations, Purchase, Stores, Materials Management & Time Office.
Who can apply?
Arts & Science Under-Graduates of B.Com. / B.B.A. / B.Sc. (Mathematics & Statistics) wh are pursuing their final year of under-graduation after 10+2 & expected to qualify their final degree in April / May 2021 from a recognized Indian University. Top 75 candidates per college (including all the streams) only.
Eligibility Guidelines:
Academics: Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 65% or more up to 4 th Semester in the under-graduation. Mode of Study: Only candidates pursuing their under-graduation in full-time mode are eligible. Candidates pursuing their Dual-Degree or through part-time or correspondence are not eligible.
Back-Logs / Arrears: Candidates should not have any history of arrears or standing arrears through-out graduation.
Age: Candidates born between 1st July 1998 and 30th June 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible.
Nationality: Indian Nationals only. Foreign Nationals are not eligible.
Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to medical fitness as recommended by our company doctors at our designated hospitals.
Online Written Test & Proctoring:
We have partnered with M/s. L&T EduTech, a niche initiative of Larsen & Toubro in the assessment solutions. The campus hiring process has undergone significant changes to accommodate new digital-virtual dynamics. The most important aspect in that is the test-taking process. A rigorous online automated invigilation process has been put in place to work in tandem with computer- based exams. Automated proctoring system (referred as APR) – all activities in the test-taking platform for the complete duration of the test is monitored by the system to generate a credibility score. The selection of students will also depend on their credibility score reports for this test process. The APR is driven by webcam, microphone and the test-taking screen. A complex algorithm ensures capture of all malpractices and deviations to compute the forementioned credibility score. Kindly note that a low credibility score (which is a result of multiple factors mentioned earlier) will lead to the cancellation of test taker’s candidature. A high number of such cancellations may put the institution at risk. Requests for accommodating exceptions/deviations will not be entertained.
Minimum Requirements / Instructions to the Candidates:
• Internet Speed required is at least 1 GB with minimum speed of 8-10 MBPS at all the times during the test. Test need to be attempted from a laptop or desktop (with webcam). Test should not be attempted from mobile or tablets.
• Use only Google Chrome browser. In case, the test player gets stuck / frozen or is not moving to the next question, the candidate needs to close the browser and open the link again, login and resume the test.
• The webcam must be installed strictly in front of the face, and it is not allowed to install the camera from the side. The face must be fully framed, and no partial or complete exit from the camera's field of view is permitted. The face should be in the centre of the webcam's field of view during the entire session.
• Candidate face should be evenly lit, there should not be light source behind candidate face. Hair, clothing, hands, face masks or anything else should not cover the face area. Sunglasses not to be worn during the test. Only transparent lenses are allowed.
• There should not be any other people in the room. It is prohibited to leave the workplace during the examination. There should not be voices or noise in the background during the test. Since, the system captures all the noise, it is highly recommended to have a quite surrounding during the test.
• The exam must be taken in a browser with a full screen window. You cannot switch to other applications (including another Browsers/Browser-Tab) or minimize the browser. All programs e.g. skype, zoom etc. or applications like MS Teams etc. that use the webcam, mic & screen share should not be used during the test.
• The materials and contents of the examination should not be recorded in any way. Do not use unfair means during examination like mobile, earphones or other app support, using google etc. It can result in disqualification. In case of any trouble in test taking, you are expected to get in touch with your training and placement team and in turn the same should be communicated immediately to the L&T Team by the institute. Compensation:
Candidates will be hired as Graduate Commercial Trainees. Training Period: 12 months on job training from the date of their joining.
CTC during Training (for first year):
INR 2.30 Lakhs per annum at Office
INR 2.75 Lakhs per annum at Site
Absorption:
Upon successful completion of training, candidate will be absorbed into Company’s permanent rolls in Supervisory Grade, S-1.
CTC on Absorption (second year onwards):
INR 4.00 Lakhs per annum at Office
INR 4.25 Lakhs per annum at Site
