 We're a disruptive startup based out of India in the space of international logistics and trading. We help businesses move from the archaic phone calls/emails system being used to a modern online platform for better planning, management and insights into their international supply chains. We have been growing over 20% MoM and have just secured our Series A round of funding. We are looking to onboard full stack developers that can help us grow the team and scale our product.

Stipend  Range: INR.10,000/-P.M (depending on the candidate suitability, proficiency and time commitment)

Duration : 6months.

Job Description – Sales Internship

Role Description:

MyFreight.ai (a BTJ Logistics subsidiary) is looking for a sales intern to assist in various activities across Sales funnel stages including product awareness, lead generation and customer retention. This opportunity will help you gain hands-on experience of working on challenging assignments and start-up culture.

As an intern you will be assisting sales team in strategic and administrative sales tasks ranging from identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, establishing contacts with potential customers, maintaining customer details, conducting market research for competitive analysis, preparing insight reports based on collated data and proactively collating feedbacks and potential use case for the product enhancement.

Your primary Job Responsibilities will include following:

 Identify sale opportunities and propose innovative ways to pitch the product to the customer

 Conduct market research to analyse competitor pricing, product and various marketing and promotional initiatives

 Create sales presentation and proposals for potential client across different product categories

 Propose innovative ideas to improve sales process efficiency, team performance and to build upon existing strategies

 Assist team in various sales activities such as price negotiations, managing customer expectations, follow-ups, cross-selling, up-selling, and analysing the performance of sales team

 Establish rapport with the customer and vendors to build a long-term business relationship

 Learn and apply various B2B sales technique

 If required, participate in meetings, workshops, and events

Skills/Qualifications required:

 Undergraduate or an MBA with understanding of business and marketing

 Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 Initiative-taking and a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales

 Good interpersonal skills

 Willingness to learn and incorporate constructive feedback

 Ability to work in a challenging environment

 Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

● The position is responsible for doing cold calling to the provided leads.

● To effectively work towards profiling the customer requirements & setting up demo’s for our portal.

● Motivating the customer to use the online Portal.

● To maximize the effectiveness by producing high quality leads and working as a team.

● Capable of developing & compelling value propositions that foster stronger relationships with customers

● Supporting Sales function by generating quality lead & passing on the same for business closure.

● Help in generation of enquiries to the client where required.

● Maintain SOPs for all customers & addresses all service issues, constant customer engagement and channelization of business intelligence to the network to support growth, retention and develop new value sell opportunities

● Engages prospects and customers to present the company services, always furthering relationships up the value continuum towards the advisory (value added role)

● Advocates for both the company and the customer, striving to find win-win solutions that expand and further clients’ relationship

● Builds relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations

● Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills supported by strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team structure

● Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by the management from time to time Education and Experience

MBA/Bachelor’s degree from four-year University

A unique combination of good interpersonal and communications/presentation skills, both written and oral, coupled with a sharp business acumen and consultative inside sales approach

Computer Skills

Should have a strong working / user knowledge of CRM-Sales software, as well as other tools regularly utilized in the sales & marketing profession (Word, Excel, MS office, PowerPoint, internet browser, etc.)
