Industry Prime is an early stage startup based out of Kolkata. 

Our Mission is to make it really easy for businesses to source Industrial Goods at the best price and in the shortest delivery time. We are building a B2B Marketplace in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) where a company can register with us and send their list of item requirements. We will in turn get them quotations for multiple trusted and verified vendors in 24 hours. Its like having your personal purchase assistant. The idea was born out of frustration of the founder when trying to manage the purchase of Industrial Goods at his family's Steel Business. It is an ordeal to find trusted vendors for your Industrial Supply needs. Even if you somehow manage to find a Vendor then comes the problem of price discovery. Current options such as IndiaMart, Yellow Pages, and Just Dial are simply directories with poor ratings and search capabilities. They are focussed on Marketing rather than using technology to solve the real problems. Hence, the rise of so many startups picking verticals from Just Dial (Furniture to Home Services). 

Where are we right now

We are using a concept called Tools to Network Approach wherein you build a standalone software for any one side of the marketplace to manage their work flow problems and then use that as a base to create the marketplace. We identified there are many SME's who are still using manual systems to manage their Inventory and Purchase and saw a great opportunity in building a software which makes the day to day job of a purchaser really simple. In a short span of 4 months we have 20 business units paying for our software.

Job Description

We are now looking for a candidate who can innovate and iterate at break neck speed

Key Responsibilities:

1. Closely interacting with users for quick feedback loop and requirement analysis

2. Taking the above and translating it into RoR 

3. Working on UX, focusing on increasing interactivity(Javascript)

4. Addressing user support issues

5. Performance fine tuning through query optimisation

6. API integration with other software

Early Stage Employee - Sales Executive - B2B Sales

Job Description

We are now looking for a candidate who can help us with the sales of the software. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Look for innovative ways to generate leads

2. Connect with the leads using cold calls, emails, walk ins and convert them into prospects 

3. Build Effective Sales Pitch and Sales Collateral

4. Convert Prospects into Customers

5. Onboarding and Training 

6. Always available for customer support and help.

7. Build a sales team and develop strategies for penetrating the market.

Salary Range - 10000 to 15000
